The interdisciplinary project "anxietate" tries to replicate the feelings of anguish, feelings that we all felt at one point in our lives. It is a combination between, visuals, text and body movement. The instalation is constructed around the idea of "rain", and what it signifies: pain, sorrow, sadness, depression, doubled by the fact that it is hard to get over those feelings. It is a collaboration between Puiac Virgil, Digital interactive arts, project coordinator, and the master students from performative arts and film, second year. This installation tries to propose a dialog between digital and human, a dialog without a fixed form, that changes it's shape depending on the movement of the performers.Â
Visual programming: Puiac Virgil
Text: Ioana Hanchevici
Performer: Elvis Petrea
The interactive part is simple, it is a rain that is following and interacting with
our performer, made out of particle systems and rendered in real time
and projected on the performer and on the wall behind him!
